Day of Caring with the United Way
River City Food Bank is very grateful to participate in the United Way’s Day of Caring on September 13th. Volunteers from United Way will be demolishing our current Demonstration Kitchen and installing new cabinets for our popular Cooking/Nutrition Classes. Our new space will provide much-needed storage space and we can’t wait!

Yum! Brand Foods Supports RCFB
We are very grateful to Yum! Brand Foods (KFC, Taco Bell, & Pizza Hut) for reaching out to RCFB and including us in their Legislative Day at the Capitol on June 25th. They presented us with a check for $1,000 and we had the opportunity to meet and greet legislative staff at a tent luncheon on the South lawn of the Capitol. Our clients received burritos and pizzas as an extra treat. In spite of a steady drizzle, it was a delicious day!
