At RCFB, we’re here to help! Our emergency food distribution in Midtown and Arden-Arcade provides healthy, nutritious food to individuals and families facing hunger.

With our unique “Choice Model,” you can pick out the food that’s best for you, including fresh fruits and veggies, dairy, meat, and more. No ID or proof of income is needed—we’re open to everyone in Sacramento County who needs help.

We rely on 15-20 volunteers each day to keep things running smoothly.

At RCFB, our CalFresh Outreach team is here to help.

We offer a range of services:

Completion of CalFresh applications
Rescheduling CalFresh appointments with the county
Assistance in locating nearby Farmers’ Markets and stores that accept EBT
Requesting replacement EBT cards
Troubleshooting CalFresh cases
Maintaining benefits to meet renewal deadlines

Applying for CalFresh can feel overwhelming, but our team is here to guide you through the process with patience and compassion. Plus, while you visit us, you can pick up healthy food from our emergency food distribution sites to ensure your family has what they need to thrive.
