Marketing Coordinator job Post FB


River City Food Bank (RCFB), a local non-profit is looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to support our Fund Development department. This position plays a critical role telling our story and elevating our brand. The position will be responsible for all design, social media, website, marketing materials and branding for RCFB. The Marketing Coordinator is a creative, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about mission and values of RCFB and the goals established by RCFB’s Board of Directors, as directed by the Executive Director under the supervision of the Director of Fund Development.

Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Social Media Management

  • Develops RCFB’s social media strategy and oversee social media accounts and content to grow web presence and maximize following, reach, impressions, and interactions on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Creates content that aligns with mission and core values.
  • Creates and implements a monthly social media content calendar.
  • Collects and reports on monthly social media analytics to determine trends and growth.
  • Coordinates online giving campaigns.

Website Management

  • Maintains the accuracy of content on the website each month.
  • Analyzes and tracks web traffic analytics.

Donor Communications

  • Collects stories, photos, videos and quotes from guests to use in various communications.
  • Compiles content, creates, designs, edits and schedules monthly e-newsletter, Health & Hope via Constant Contact software.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Fund Development, designs and creates quarterly printed fundraising appeals and digital campaigns for Big Day of Giving and Giving Tuesday.

Design & Branding

  • Designs and creates marketing materials to use to raise awareness of our services, inform our guests and build RCFB’s brand within the community (e.g., flyers, brochures, banners, posters, business cards, etc.)
  • Designs and creates event specific materials.
  • Designs and implements advertising collateral.

Other Duties

  • Assists with additional duties, as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and two to five years of related experience and/or training, preferably with a small organization or non-profit; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of experience with graphic design and publishing software (i.e. Publisher, InDesign, Canva, etc.).

Additional Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Video production experience a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • WordPress or related website experience required.
  • Experience using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Ops assistant job Post FB

Summary: Responsible for assisting in all areas of River City Food Bank’s programs and operations. Understands and implements the mission of River City Food Bank (RCFB) and the goals established by RCFB’s Board of Directors, as directed by the Executive Director under the supervision of the Operations Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Receives food donations from Grocer’s Feed the Hungry (GFTH) partners, food drives, and other agencies as assigned.
  • Responsible for safely unloading, sorting, and organizing food (and other) donations.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with all partner agencies.
  • Deliver items for food drives, including barrels, posters and other programs as required.
  • Ensures that all weights of incoming and outgoing donations and daily food distributions are accurately recorded.
  • Submit all GFTH weight data and reports daily.
  • Works with Operations Coordinator in maintaining clean and organized site.
  • Assist with inventory maintenance and rotate stock in accordance with FIFO (First IN, First Out).
  • Helps with TEFAP deliveries, ensure product is put away safely and efficiently in an organized manner.
  • Maintains competence with all aspects of client services and provide coverage when necessary.
  • Complete opening/closing checklists.
  • Ensure food is handled and stored safely in compliance with USDA standards and best food handling practices.
  • Works with other team members to identify and implement efficiencies to workflow and overall operations.
  • Responsible for setting up and breaking down outdoor distribution.

Volunteer Assistance

  • Provide support to all volunteers as needed.
  • Assist Volunteer Coordinator with training volunteers and answering questions regarding duties and assignments.
  • Notify Volunteer Coordinator of any volunteer needs.
  • Provide volunteers with safe working environment and report any potential problems to Operations Coordinator.

Program Assistance

  • Provide assistance for all RCFB’s programs including travel, assembly, loading, unloading, and distribution and clean up.
  • Oversees and support volunteers to ensure program bags/pallets are properly assembled.
  • Maintain excellent communication and relationships with program contacts, volunteers, and other staff members.
  • Notify Operations Director of any issues that may affect scheduled pick-up and drop-off times.
  • Purchases items/supplies for programs as needed.

Equipment Management

  • Report vehicle needs and maintenance to Operations Director as soon as possible.
  • Keep truck/van maintenance records, and ensure vehicle is always in proper working order.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
  • Maintain driving logbook for mileage and fuel.
  • Inspect truck/van daily and ensure safety is a priority before and during travel.
  • Responsible for operating forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or needs to Operations Coordinator.


  • Provide daily reporting of statistical data to Operations Director.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings.
  • Turn in all receipts in a timely manner.
  • Make copies of guest resources, intake paperwork, volunteer agreements, Civil Rights forms, etc.
  • Listen to voicemail messages, relay to the appropriate staff member, and return calls as needed.
  • Ensure all daily paperwork is completed accurately and filed in the correct place.
  • Maintain credit card log for any purchases.

Accounting Coordinator Job Post FB


River City Food Bank (RCFB), a local non-profit is looking for a part-time Accounting Coordinator. This person will be responsible for coordinating donation process; including, data entry, gift acknowledgements and donor database management system (CRM) while supporting basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks for River City Food Bank (RCFB). Understands and implements the mission of RCFB and the goals established by RCFB’s Board of Directors, as directed by the Executive Director under the supervision of the Director of Fund Development.

Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Accounting Coordination

  • Process all donations (e.g., online gifts, checks, cash, automated clearing house (ACH) in donor database and create reports to reconcile with accounting software.
  • Data entry into donor management software (CRM)
  • Understand and correctly apply funding to specified programs, campaigns, grants or fundraising categories.
  • Create reports in CRM to export into Excel spreadsheets for validation and alignment with reports from accounting software (QuickBooks).
  • Acknowledge the receipt of all gifts in a timely manner, providing letters to the Fund Development Director for signature, or by electronic correspondence.
  • Prepare bank deposit for funds received by check/cash, as directed by the Operations Administrator.
  • Identify recurring donor lapses and communicate with Fund Development Director.
  • Maintain accurate donor records in donor database, including updates as needed (e.g., email, address or phone numbers changes), consolidation or merging donors if needed.
  • Monthly donation reconciliation as directed.

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

  • Assist with management of incoming payments to manage receivables aging and timely payments, including monthly statements to vendors if needed.

Credit Card Expense Management

  • Ensure that monthly reports are updated and accurate for all company credit card holders.

  • Read messages from RCFB’s general email account, reply appropriately or distribute to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
  • Retrieve RCFB voicemail and provide messages to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with additional administrative duties, as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years of office experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One-two years of office experience utilizing accounting software, accounts receivable/payables experience, and Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Previous data entry and accounting experience (knowledge of Donor Management Systems and QuickBooks preferred)
