Your Donation Changes Lives

Hosting a Food Drive

Hosting a food drive is a great way to support your neighbors facing hunger! Whether you are collecting a few items from your house or hosting a large drive at your office, all in-kind donations are appreciated.

Click below for more information to make your food drive a success.

If you have further questions about hosting a food drive, contact Jena Edoho, Operations Director

Due to limited staff capacity and resources during the holiday season, River City Food Bank can only pick up food drive donations if the following criteria apply:

  1. There is a minimum of 500 items that have been collected that needs to be picked up AND
  2. The pickup location is within a 5 mile radius of downtown Sacramento
*Please note that if the radius is up to 10 miles of downtown Sacramento, we can accommodate a pickup if there are 1,000+ items collected.
